I adore Qdoba, thing is I don't have a great picture of how good it is overall because I've only ever ordered one thing there [outside a side of chips and queso on occasion].

Steak Fajita Burrito Classico, all the fixins, two scoops of extra hot and one scoop pico de gallo. I've added queso when they offered it or on my free burrito.

Maybe my single favorite fast casual or fast food offering out there.

I once swapped part of my burrito with someone who ordered chicken burrito with beans and a mild sauce. Not the same AT ALL. Give me crisp veggies over soggy beans any time anywhere.

Well that too. But I mean people spend money there not because they'd argue the food is good, but it's many times more convenient and arguably consistent an experience than others like in and out burger or five guys.

At McDs the Big Mac tastes the same anywhere in the states, you can feed the kiddos in a rush, and it's relatively cheap. So no, people don't think it's the best tasting if given the choice, but that obviously doesn't matter in this segment of the market.

Ftr my children are 4 & 1 and have never had RonDons secret sauce. Wife is a freaking vegan, she'd kill me. I used to eat that shit on the sly before coming home to her rubbish attempts at some fake meat meal. End up eating 2 shitty meals and chubby.

I know plenty of people that eat at McDs, Subway, etc and happily admit it. It’s the message board/anonymous/shlt-talking mentality that gets everyone to say they haven’t eaten there in 20 years and it gives them fire ass.

Those places are popular because they are (relatively) cheap and convenient, and because of kids. Women aren’t stay-at-home moms anymore so they need to pick something up on the way home from work and its much easier to go though a drive-thru than to get carry-out from a restaurant. Plus their kids haven’t developed their palate yet so they prefer the cheap stuff (every kid I know gets grossed out by real mac N cheese and will only eat the Kraft powdered stuff).

I don't think Chipotle sucks, I just think it is highly overrated. To me, it's just meh.

I like Chipotle, but I feel they give you more rice as filler than anything else.
