I know some in the game thread said it was a good call to say fumble. Can anyone really still say that after seeing that picture?

I was watching at a bar so the Chiefs didn't have audio.
I watched the replay, obviously, like 50 times and was laughing my ass off at the challenge. It made no sense. No way could they overturn that. They did. I had a meltdown. Literally...what the ****? That was ... I just don't get it. You can't overturn that ... you just can't. What were they saying on the telecast? |

I am less and less interested in the NFL in general. Between the rule changes that don't let anyone make a hit and the rule changes that put critical downs in the hands of referees who are clearly biased, I might as well watch pro wrestling.

Did anyone see the ref on the Fasano OPI? He didn't even see contact, he just saw Fasano wide open and said "Oh **** we can't let that happen." and chucked it out... a full 7 seconds after contact.

The ball was moving when he was going down, was still moving when he rolled over, and came out before he ever fully controlled it. Ignoring the fact that he was a Chief, there was enough there to over turn, IMO.

Not blaming it for the loss, but it was literally the worst challenge over turn I have ever witnessed.

If anything I just hope this changes Kelce for the rest of his career. We Chiefer's know that he was doing his signature ball spin but the refs decided to fix the game before it started that was just an excuse.

Three very questionable calls today in order of changing the outcome of the game. (#3 not so much but I was still raging at that call.)
1. Bogus offensive PI negating a TD. 2. The fumble while being down. Not enough to overturn that to be a fumble. 3. Roughing the QB on Hali. I am almost ready to give up on the NFL.
