Favorite Rollercoaster?

With Theme Parks opening, what is your favorite Roller Coaster you have ever ridden? If you want, post videos.

I liked the log ride and the Sky High as a teen. Great for making out with random girls you would meet out there.

Yeah, but I don't think it was because they couldn't, but because the new owners, Cedar Fair(who owns Cedar point, among others)probably wanted rid of them because they we old.

Yeah I haven't been there in about 7 or 8 years, but I'm dying to go back. Can't quite describe the feeling on the dragster.. On the Millineum force I seriously think I was close to blacking out on the first hill

I prefer bumper cars myself. There are few things more satisfying than building up a good head of speed and blindsiding some little kid who's not checking his six.

We love(d) coasters as well after going to Disney. So we went to Six Flags St. Louis and rode a bunch. Holy shit. Some of those coasters were seriously painful. My wife and I, who are both in good shape for the most part, felt like we'd both been in a boxing match after riding the wooden coasters. Necks and backs were killing us.

The newer more modern coasters didn't seem to bother us, though. Just the wooden ones. Awful. They didn't seem to bother the kids at all, though. I guess they're more flexible than us old farts.

You have to be careful with the wooden coasters.

I remember a wooden coaster basically ruined my first trip to Busch Gardens Tampa. The way the park is set up, it makes the most sense to ride this wooden coaster called Gwazi first. So we did.

.. Big mistake. Had a splitting headache all ****ing day from that shit. **** that ride.

The new Prowler at Worlds of Fun is a damn smooth Wooden Roller Coaster, loved it, very nice ride.

I've never been anywhere but WOF and SDC back in the day.

Currently, Mamba, Patriot and Prowler are all solid. I haven't ridden Timber Wolf in years. That's a rough riding sumbitch.

Spinning Dragons and Boomerang are pretty meh.

We won tickets to SDC at our church, so looking forward to checking out Outlaw Run, Powder Keg and Wildfire.

I forgot, we went to Six Flags in St. Louis several years ago and the Batman coaster was pretty cool.

I think coasters and other fast rides are a young man's game. At the age of 14 I never fathomed saying this, but riding a roller coaster past the age of 35 is just asking for trouble, and it's no fun.

One of our kids was too small for Mr. Freeze at Six Flags, so the wife rode it with the older one while I waited with the younger. The older one didn't want to ride it again, so she sent me to ride it alone while she watched them both.

If you've ever done Mr. Freeze you know how freaking long the walk up for it is... so I walked and walked and walked. Hardly anyone in line. I was stoked because I was going to get to ride it. I get up there and am in the next group on, and the freaking ride breaks and goes down for the day. I was pissed.

Apollo's Chariot at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg. Smoothest rollercoaster ever.

Their vertical coaster, the Griffon is pretty good, but too short.

Haven't been to Cedar Point since 2002. Had a ****ing blast though.

At the time....Millenium Force was the best coaster there. It stands 300ft tall and goes about 90mph. For all of the KC locals to compare to WOF's Mamba..which is 210ft and goes 75 mph I believe.

I think they have the Kingda Ka there now...would love to make a trip back there to ride.

Other than that....The Hulk rollercoaster at Islands of Adventures Universal Studios FL...that coaster was ****ing cool.

I also wanna ride that Superman coaster that raises/leans you forward on your stomach like you're flying like Superman...that looks ****ing cool.
