What is the worst food poisoning you ever had?
Im currently peeing out of my ass with the chills thankfully havent puked since this a.m. I believe the pulled pork sandwich I ate to be the culprit.

Since there are so many food threads we might as well share our food poisoning stories as well.

Well, I thought I'd had it bad before reading this thread. Holy shit, you guys win.

I have been blessed with an iron stomach - I can count on one hand the number of times I've puked in my life, and all them involved too much alcohol. When I get food poisoning or stomach flu, it's always downstairs, not upstairs. When my ship was in strong North Atlantic storms, I was part of the 10% of the crew that stayed standing.

Probably the worst was a nasty little Italian place we went with the wife's parents. We both got sick even though we didn't have the same dish - and ironically, neither of her parents did. I think the worst part was both of us being sick at the same time. The wife was puking her guts out. I was crapping black ink for about two days. By the time it passed it felt like someone had given me a Tabasco enema. Ugh.

I agree I ate a fish snacker when they first came out. I only had one and that's all it took. I was throwing up and couldn't hold anything down in my system.

hmm... it wasnt really food poisoning, but it has to do with the symptoms, 4 years ago when my sister passed away, my whole digestive system was beyond ****ed for like 2 weeks. it was so bad i had to go to the doctor and once i explained he just told me thats how my body was coping with it. Went away a few days after that, but **** i was ****ed up. The doctor was my age and now dude is one of my best friends. Good ole Christian guy kept tabs on me after that. Now i know his wife kids and everyone. Talk all the time, good dude!

Kin Lin Chinese, UMKC campus in 2000. I don't even remember what I ordered, but I walked in on a Saturday around 2pm during the couple week span in May/June when all the students were gone. The entire staff was just sitting around the restaurant due to lack of business. My gut told me it wasn't right but I stayed and ordered.

I was bartending a wedding reception for a catering company later that evening when it hit me. I was defiling the men's room in the reception venue before my boss made me leave. I think someone complained. Some 13 years later when I was still living in KC, my wife tells me she's ordered Chinese from "some new place" for dinner. Guy comes to the door, I pay him, take it inside and as I'm unpacking it I see the menu and it's from Kin Lin. Time just froze and I stared at my reflection in the kitchen window like I was in a Hitchcock film or something.

Back in the late 90s I had a bad polish sausage at a picnic. The next day puked and shit for the better part of 10 hours. At times, puking while sitting on the toilet. I couldn't keep anything down. No 7-Up, crackers, nothing. It took the better part of a decade before I could smell polish sausage without getting nauseated.

Caught something in Laughlin, NV. Didn't hit until I came home. Spent 3 days of chills, double vision and simultanious diarrhea/vomit. Couldn't hold any liquids or food down, pretty much wanted to die.

Alcohol poisoning though... one time was really bad.
