The All -22 and yeah, it all happened again

This team is done most likely. It's done and Reid is the captain of the Titanic hitting the ice burg except the first one didn't do the job so he hit 5 more.

This is an objective assessment. It is not good enough to win a Super Bowl without a once in a decade defense and solid running game. With confidence, he could be so much better, but he doesn’t trust himself or his teammates. He avoids mistakes but in the process makes everyone else on the field worse. His hesitations to deliver the ball to open receivers rob them of catches and result in sacks that make the OL look worse than it is. His failure to reliably stretch the field allows the defense to cheat the line to stop the run. Let’s move on already.

If avoiding mistakes means missing wide open touchdowns multiple times a game, .... I just don't know what to say.
And now he is starting to throw stupid Interceptions.

He sucks.

Naw man, this new mantra is just stupid. One could post up multiple "missed wide open target" for every QB in most every game.

Real football is not ****ing Madden. Real QBs do not see every ****ing target all at the same time.. nor can all (most? Pat?) click a button and throw lasers from any angle or standing/running position.

The main problem happening is two-fold.

Alex Smith is not a natural, instinctual QB. He is for the most part.. robotic.. and systematic. That can be very good when everyone does their job as dialed up. That can be very bad, when people are ****ing up around him.

Andy Reid's shit has been analyzed.. and ****ing figured out. When a defense knows what you are up to? you better play perfect football to still beat them. Otherwise.. you are improvising... which goes back to the Alex Smith problem.

No run game. No balance. Defense knows what you are doing, and ****ing up the pre-snap reads. Not good improvising.

all = trouble.

THIS alone is why I actually think Mahomes can save us.. this year. Beyond this year, can he adjust accordingly? eh.. dunno.. up to him.

I can't take this team seriously as long as Alex Smith is the starting QB.

I know Alex misses wide open guys, but if we did this for the other 31 starters I bet it would be an eye-opener.

Jesus Brady and Moses Rapelisburger probably miss guys, too.

Every QB misses open targets.

But most don't miss them nearly as often.

VERY TRUE. Plus, those QBs have RINGS, as in multiple. To the poster who compared Alexis to Brady/Ben, please don't compare a scrub like Alexis to those QBs ever again or else I am going to have to revoke the football knowledge card.

That's why Alex has put as many points on the board as those guys throughout his career, too. No difference in them to be honest. Just luck, really. That poor, poor Alex.

Surround Alex with what Brady has had throughout his career and I bet the outcome is similar.

Smith just needs more talent/weapons.
