Alex turtled into a huge ****ing pussy when Kelce went down. That's what happened. If it happens again, Mahomes will not be as easily deterred. He may force more stuff, but we won't see zero 2nd half points. We already have Hill Conley Robinson Chesson with the possibility of keeping Wilson. Draft a guy late or see if Dieter/Kemp is anything. MAYBE bring in a cheap ass guy to round out the roster. TE is a bigger need, but I won't cry if we re-sign Harris for cheap |

Just say no to this crap. We better not spend our top choice (2nd round) on a freaking WR when we have about a million holes to fill on D.

I’d probably spend a little on a guy like Gabriel and make a significant investment at LG.
Spend the rest on defensive difference makers. Let’s see what we have at WR with Mahomes before going out and spending money on guys that we may not even need. |

Dolphins giving Landry permission to seek a trade.
Link: http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/sp...203014489.html Do not want though, trade compensation/cost to sign Landry would be too high. |

Mahomes made wilson a star in Denver and robinson and Kemp loom above average in the pre season, why bring in anything at all unless it's a speedy mismatch guy that also returns kicks?

Please MOSTLY work on the D line - first and foremost - then sprinkle in a FA CB - next find a guard and then worry about other concerns - which are smaller.

The key is that Veach said we were looking for at outside WRs. Wilson might not be here next year, and he seems more like a slot guy anyway. Robinson looked all but useless in Denver. Kemp hasn't even been in a real game outside of a couple of snaps when we were absolutely decimated by injury.

I thought we didn't have enough resources to fix the defense before the Peters trade. I don't see how we can possibly afford to get a WR and fix the defense now that our defense is even worse than it was.

I would absolutely sign a rather cheap WR FA but with great potential or sign a FA on a one-year deal.
You want to feel good about your receiving corps even if you were to lose Hill or Kelce for the season. If you add someone like Matthews, Watkins or something similar, you are pretty much guaranteed to have good WR play even if injuries occur. I mean you have Conley, Robinson and Chesson who all could be decent this year. Unless it is a clear case of BPA, I wouldn't draft a WR before the 4th round and by then, you can't expect that WR to produce right from the start. |

I agree Mahomes should have weapons, but who cares if he throws 10 TDs in a game if the D can't stop the other side from scoring 11. We've been there, done that. No, a WR, either via FA or the draft has to be a lower priority than CB, S, OLB, D-line, and LG.
