Post-Draft Chiefs Depth Chart

K/P/LS are obvious.

I guess my first takeaway was that this roster is quite a bit deeper in some spots than I can recall it being since Reid got here. It also seems thin in a place or two, but nothing horrific. Thoughts? Concerns?

45 combined tackles and 2 sacks in 2 years? 6 million dollar man needs to go. We spent our entire draft on defense- Bailey, Zombo and Sorensen should have a replacement that can produce at a fraction of the cap cost.

That has always been the problem with the Chiefs- these kind of fringe overpaid players make the roster year after year and can't produce when we need them.

Who is replacing Bailey? Rochez? Then who is his rotational replacement? Who is replacing Sorenson? McQuay who can't seem to stay healthy?

While I'm not a Bailey fan, the fact here is we have no viable replacement. Maybe one of our FAs can step in, but like CR said, who's the rotational replacement? I'm all for cutting Zombo. When a $%&*!! QB can block you, you have no business on the field. Sorenson's replacement, or for his role last year, is O'Daniel. But I'd still like to see what he can do as a FS. If he doesn't have to take on a 300 lb lineman, he might have a chance of making a play or two. Previous to putting him in that role last year, the guy always seemed to be around the ball.

We didn't draft a player that will play DE for our D. UDFAs rarely make rosters in the NFL. When the ones that do make an impact it is years down the road no immediate like you are suggesting.

Make RNR the starter and bring in a FA at Vet minimum to take Bailey's 6 Million spot on the bench.

Take that cap space and add another quality CB, Oline to replace Dumpster fire Devey, and a backup to RNR.

Dude I am all for getting rid of Zombo which is a cap savings of $1.2M.
I don't see us cutting Sorensen or Bailey.
Who do you see replacing Sorensen?
