If possible, would you trade for Khalil Mack?
Rumors are flying about this Mack trade possibility and the latest report says a dozen teams have inquired about the star pass rusher. —> https://twitter.com/profootballtalk/...706969606?s=21
So my question to you is... IF the Raiders were to be willing to trade him here and IF the Chiefs make a play for him and can pull it off... would you want them to make the move? Several factors come into play in terms of pros and cons, but he is a gamechanger who is about to be paid QB money when it comes down to it. Discuss. |

Funny Chucky hasn't spoken to him since he's been there - additionally the Raiders are ignoring his agent's calls. Not looking like he'll be a Raider - that's for sure.

NFL Network reported tonight that Mack's agent and the Raiders have not communicated since February. I'm wondering if he refused to go to Disneyland with Mark Davis or something.

2 first round picks is a given. That's pretty much what New Orleans used to draft Davenport, and Mack is a top 3 talent defensively.

I would not. 2 firsts and a mega deal. He's not worth that to us. We are not ready for SB contention in a few areas. They can be addressed in the off season by the draft and money. Mack won't put us there.

If I were GB, I would do it. You have a window with Rodgers and he’s not getting younger. You have the ammo.

If I'm Pitt or NE or Saints or GB I'm all in. Old ass QBs make it easy. They are almost over.

If we can, yes please! We can't afford two 1st rounders, or the contract he wants however.
Happily give up x1 First rd Pick + a combination of Dee Ford and and additional pick if they'd be willing to discuss. Working his contract? No clue how we'd pull that one off until next offseason. |

If the Chiefs still had Marcus Peters, a 2016 Eric Berry, and a 2014 Justin Houston, I'd say yes, throw your chips all in, trade for Mack and try to grab that SB, because that would be a SB caliber D and the SB window would be right now.
But this D is 2-3 yrs away from being good, and by then it will be time to move on from Berry and Houston, who are a shell of their former selves (or inj). So having that said, no I wouldn't given the Chiefs current situation.
