Depressing read in SI: Bursting the Bubble, Why Sports Aren't Coming Back Soon.

Oof. Man don’t know if I can take this.

https://www.si.com/mlb/2020/04/10/sp...ming-back-soon

The NBA, NFL and MLB are dreaming up ways to play amid a pandemic, with talk of isolating players in Arizona or Las Vegas or maybe on the moon. It all sounds great, until you talk to people who actually know science.

It's either "we're ****ed for the foreseeable future" or life goes back to normal relatively soon. I dont really see it any other way.
Basically, you need to pick the top 4 best vaccine candidates, start mass producing now and whichever works, go with that one. It's short term waste but long term savings.

Fat, out of shape people with poor health are at high risk for this.

Are you guys willing to expose Mahomes to COVID? What if he gets sick during the middle of the season? Or worse, the playoffs?

Yeah they sure can but the money from the "gate" is a huge piece of the pie for any team. It is a necessary piece of the pie.

Right, but I'd take 3/4 or 1/2 of a pie over no pie at all

Interesting, hadn't read his scouting report. Any chance of Eugenics falling to KC in the draft?
