Damnit!!! Why the hell isn't last Friday's episode available for viewing on scifi.com yet?
Was in Orlando and the hotel did not have scifi. Haven't had time to just torrent it.

I'm just waiting for her to break out her shakrum and let loose with the old battle cry: "Yiyiyiyiyiyiyiyiyiyi!"

After watching last week's episode, it dawned on me what at least one of the fundamental differences is - they can't (or couldn't) download. I was never sure if the "empty" bodies were amorphous and faceless until the cyclon is downloaded into them, or if they were predesigned already in the form of their particular model. But when they showed that glimpse into the hub, with all the 8s still in their bathtubs, I have to assume the latter. And if the final five could download like the rest, then the others would have seen their empties in the hub, too. Unless their empties are stored elsewhere.

Last time I was on the scifi board (I've stayed off this week, no spoilers for me...) someone was trying to convince everyone that the Viper Starbuck flew back in after she disappeared was the 5th.
It was entertaining. |

I prefer "Jake the Dog" as the 5th to that theory.

Nah. Ron Moore said he was hooking on Cloud 9, so he would have died when Gina set off the nuke.

Herc from AICN called tonight's ep the "Biggest 'Galactica' ever", bigger than the season 1 finale, bigger than the season 2 finale, bigger than last season's finale.
(No real spoilers if you follow the link, at least not IMO, just confirmation that it utterly kicks ass.) There was also a bit about the series finale: * The series finale is filming right now in Vancouver and will likely wrap just before the June 30 Screen Actors Guild deadline. * The script for the series finale made Edward James Olmos and Aaron Douglas cry, according to Helfer. Helfer describes her own reaction to the finale script: “Like somebody punched me in the stomach.” Helfer said the ending will compel fans to revisit the series’ beginning. * McDonnell said the series finale script filled her with “an incredible feeling of adrenaline.” “It made me understand the entire saga, and made me excited for all of you,” she told the audience. She added she was “blown away” by it. I believe tonight's ep is running right now on scifi.com, but I'm going to try to resist the urge to watch. |
