B. is the logical choice though. I agree with you.

I think Sanchez personality wise would have fit a lot better in KC than NYC. He wasn't really ready day 1 but he had everything you want physically.
If his contract wasn't so big, I wouldn't mind giving up a late pick and see what Reid could do with him |

Sanchez and Clausen are sunk costs at this point. They'd likely be a waste of a roster spot

He's the best player in the entire draft. We're taking him if we stay at 1.
You want the best player in the draft if you are picking first overall. Best player in the draft=best possibility of being a HOF.

He's not even the sure fire best player at his position. He doesn't have elite measurables. And if he's that, why aren't teams without a lt jumping at trading up for him? |

Sanchez was and is garbage.
Stocking up on mediocre players is a terrible plan. It's about quality, not quantity. Which is something this franchise has never grasped. You don't get bonus points because any of your starters at key positions come from the bargain bin. Those are the kind of guys you want filling secondary roles, not key ones. This franchise (and fanbase) always gets it backwards. You need to spend money (and draft value) at quarterback, at wide receiver, at corner and for pass rushers. All your lines need to be are groups of lunch pail guys that work well together. It's more about cohesion there. But no, the Chiefs have this bizarre fascination with discard free agent qbs, like they want to prove to the world that they can find the next diamond in the rough. And it doesn't work. Ever. Over and over and over and over they do this and it always goes the same way. And now every offseason they seem to have some random penny-pinching scheme for a valuable player that ends up with that player going somewhere else, and we end up acquiring a subpar replacement for well over market value. It's turning into a comedy show, like a sitcom with the same plot every week. Oh, those lovable chiefs, they screwed it up again! *cue laugh track* |

I can't really think of another player that could be ranked ahead of them except maybe Chance Warmack.
