You're not making the point you think you are. Airing the ball out doesn't require touch. You need touch to throw the ball on intermediate routes and in the middle of the field, something he unfortunately has not demonstrated he can do.

What? I'm not saying the intermediate passes don't take touch too, but a deep pass put in stride requires just as much touch. And hitting those long passes in stride (like he did) shows a lot of touch.
