He already kicked a groundball in this game that cost a double play in the first inning. Still got an out so it wasn't an error but it might as well be.

Jason Heyward is just a bad hitter, man.
That 0-1 pitch should've been a grand slam but he's just so tied up that the best he can do is get it in his kitchen and foul it weakly. Then he stares at a hanging slider for strike 3. Dude is just a shitty hitter.

Garcia is pretty lucky everyone but Fowler is slumping right now, this guy has left more than handful of hanging breaking balls right down the middle.

I don't like how busy his hands are before the pitch. He's not even getting set when the pitch is coming in. He starts high, brings them to his chest, and then pushes out. That shit has to go.

Perfect time for Russell to forget how to catch a ball.

Well we never wondered if the dude could throw.
Go back on baseballs and throw them far. He does both of those things exceptionally well. He can still sit on a fungo.

Quote:
Everything about his swing is wrong. Absolutely everything. His crouch, his stride, his hands, his hips. You could not teach a hitter to do more things poorly in a single swing if you tried. There's literally nothing I could see him doing short of holding the bat upside down and perhaps taking a blindfold to the plate that could make him a worse hitter. Go watch video of his rookie year and weep at the purity of his stroke. That's the hitter he should've been. But when you're a beta male who can't handle failure, you do everything you can to close perceived holes in your swing and you turn it into that goddamn mess. I said it last year but he's the chick with an eating disorder. He just stares at his swing in a mirror and screams "I'M SO FAT!!" before doing fence drills for 3 hours.

He's more noticeable coming in but think of how many times he fumbled them off his shoes last year. That first catch he made yesterday was a play he corralled his body around and made it look harder than it was.
But going back on balls I honestly don't think there's anyone better. He tracks them back to the track as well as anyone I've ever seen. God I hope his toe is broken. Please have a broken toe, Wong. I mean, I don't want it to hurt too badly or anything because I don't dislike you personally (I met his family in Chicago when he first got called up; super nice people), but you just really suck at baseball.
