Right, fans had no idea Peters might take it personally when they start calling him a thug, a jerk, and flood his social media with comments blaming him for disrespecting Vegas shooting victims. They had no idea he'd react when they start trolling him after he gave up a TD especially after that week. You expect these kinds of things from your worst players. You don't expect sports fans to go after their own BEST players. If you walk into a bar and poke a hot tempered guy repeatedly, don't act surprised when you get punched in the face.

Peters deserves blame and he's gotten plenty. Dorsey deserves blame and he's gotten plenty. Few here have suggested otherwise. What I see are plenty of people profusely defending fans as if they did nothing wrong. There are a subset of fans who decided to troll one of our best players during a winning streak. They chose social activism over winning. You can excuse that all you want. I as a fan ****ing hate it.
did Peters even hear the fans? I doubt he did. he probably heard something like a cacaphonous hum.

and fans are fickle. they can do no wrong (except for throwing batteries)

What specifically makes you so sure that the National Anthem issue had “absolutely nothing” to do with this trade?

The likes of Jason La Canfora and Peter King are reporting that it was a factor.

But the crowd wasn't a driver in this decision, unless there comes solid evidence [not rumors or speculation] that either CHunt definitely wanted him gone over the crowd reaction, or Peters definitely wanted out. Even then, it's a failure of those two individuals to get over themselves and their egos for the sake of success and profitability.
I don't know how anyone can look at the fan reaction before and during the Washington game to Peters and not think that wasn't a big part of Peters starting to melt down, and not give a shit about playing for Kansas City anymore.

Peters was berated big time on social media that week because they blamed him for not respecting the Vegas shooting victims during the national anthem. You don't think they were bringing that noise to the game, especially for him to react like that?

Then he doesn't have much fortitude. Heck, what's the use of protest if you can't handle anyone disagreeing with you [and that's assuming a best-case scenario where you give a clear cogent explanation of your protest and do so in the most effective and respectful way possible].

The guy sat during the anthem because, whatever his reasons in his own mind, he knew it would cause a reaction. But when he gets one, rather than try to change anyone's mind he runs off to the comfort of home. Narcissistic and weak-willed.

Right, just a civil group of people disagreeing with him. No fans at all that overreacted to every mistake he made on the field, booed him, trolled him on the field, called him a thug, told him he sucks... nothing like that.

What superstar in their right mind would want to play for a city that treats them like that? No, I don't think he'd get nearly this kind of reaction in Seattle or Oakland, probably won't in LA. Those players protested too, you know, without nearly the same kind of backlash.

There is nothing more pathetic than watching a grown man brag about his supposed knowledge on an Internet message board.

You are a Nick Athan clone.

He literally did the same shit... bragging about his supposed inside information.

You should really find someone better to look up to and model yourself after than Nick “The Erroneous One” Athan.

Its hilarious how wrong you are about Sauto. Again, if the Rams are involved he’s gonna know some details.

This ain’t hard to figure out

Maybe if CHunt had invested in a fainting couch on which for Peters to endure his vapors on the sideline. . . .
