Keep f***ing doubting Alex Smith

The title of the thread says it all....

**** you doubters. He plays with heart, and he continues to get the job done. You people who bash Alex, I don't even consider true fans. He plays his heart out every week, and you continue to bash him...

Keep bashing him, I'll keep backing him.

This is not true.

This season Alex is attempting only 5.7% of his passes downfield.

During 2012 and 2011 Tom Brady was at 13.2% and 9.8%.

Even during the 9.8% season Brady attempted 60 passes down the field. This year Alex is on pace for 32.

It should be noted that Alex is not good at moving the chains or throwing downfield. His 49ers teams and this team were/are poor on third down, and of course lol at his ability to go down the field.

Alex sucks, get used to it.

I read where Kap ended up with 46 net yards passing Sunday. That is tough to do.

Not Alex Smith's fault though.
It's a different offense. West Coast is a short passing game.

Don't let facts get in the way of Clay's illusion. He has still failed to show a correlation between the deep passing game and winning.

Smith's win % kind of screws that up for him anyway.

Cop out.

In 2012 Foles and Vick combined for 68 attempts over 20 yards.

The year before it was over 80 attempts combined for Philly.

Alex is just being Alex.

I did so just the other day. Mostly winning QBs on this list.

Roethlisberger - 2-5
Wilson - 7-1
Brees - 6-1

Stafford - 5-3
Rivers - 4-3
Kaepernick - 6-2

Basically, 6 of the best 8 teams in the league right now have guys near the top of the league in completing passes down the field. The exception is Brady and our dear, dear Alex.

Sorry. It is the absolute truth.

4 of those guys lost Sunday and one of them had 46 yards passing and the other had a Hail Mary as his longest completion.

Your theory is falling apart.

There is only 1 QB that is 9-0.

If KC wins on Sunday night a lot of haters better hope the 49ers don't lose to the Saints, because if that happens. OH MY!
