Well, that and they ended Trauma early which might mean it's down for the count. Who knows.
I really think they can't afford to cut it and I think the bigger question is what kind of budget does it get. I hope they up the budget back to Season 2 territory and perhaps experiment with a different night since Monday's are a trainwreck.

What is a good rating? its been getting from 1.7-2.1
so if it does another 2 that is good? too bad it can't get more people to watch, its a good show. |

Josh Schwartz asked everyone via twitter to watch tonight as it could have a big impact on renewal.

FYI, I didn't interpret what I posted last night as any kind of panic. I actually read that blurb as being optimistic about the show's future.

This show is quickly losing my interest this year. I haven't seen last night's episode yet, but so far this season hasn't been that good. I find Chuck and Sarah annoying now and end up hoping for episodes that revolve around the buymore. At some point when this dies they need to do a buymore spinoff.

If it were more balanced both over the arc and in the episode (buy more, ellie & awesome, and the spy stuff) like season 2, you wouldn't be. I haven't lost interest, but I can see how people would have. And I'm hoping they get a budget increase.

I'm the contrarian of the thread I think. I liked this season a lot up until two weeks ago. I don't like Chuck and Sarah's dynamic now that they're together. Not that I think it makes the show bad in any way, or that I'm going to quit watching. I'm just patiently waiting for whatever it is that's going to eventually break them back up. As far as the rest of the show, I liked the Doctors without Borders angle (and that it only went one week), I wonder what the ring's done to awesome, and the casey-morgan dynamic is great.

Keg - That's why I was never a huge fan on them getting together. Don't get me wrong, I'm loving it so far but the tension is what creates the show.
I think what you're also seeing Keg is a concentration of that in a 6 episode arc. That is, most of these episodes would have been one-off episodes throughout the 22 ep season. Ala Chuck vs Tom Sawyer. Some of the best episodes have been one-off. Instead, we got an intense stretch of story (Chuck becoming spy) and now we're getting an intense (let's bring everything back into the fold).
