It's probably the GM.

2nd Latrine Guardsman Paton looooooves brokedicks. Gregory, Bonnito, Dulcich, Baron von Butthole, and even Russ himself. And I'm probably missing a few.

During John Elway's final draft in 2020 as the Broncos' chief football decision-maker, Denver used its first two picks on wide receivers, going all-in on hopes of creating some touchdown machines.

Taking Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler, respectively, to complement 2018 second-rounder Courtland Sutton and up-and-comer Tim Patrick, Elway deemed them "the potential core four at the position for a long time."

But this week was another gut punch for the star-crossed group that has seen the last four years dissolve into a near-constant struggle. Monday, nearly a year to the day from when he suffered a torn right ACL in 2022 training camp, Tim Patrick tore his left Achilles tendon to end his 2023 season.

The same fateful day, KJ Hamler announced he had been diagnosed with pericarditis, an irritation around the heart, after he experienced chest pains during workouts before the start of training camp.

The Broncos waived KJ Hamler as having a non-football injury, discarded like trash to the curb.

Knowmo, what about that Washington douche from last year? I thought he was the future?

Good news/Bad news regarding Tater.

Good News: He's completing lots and lots of passes to the Denver Broncos!

Bad News: They're to the Denver Broncos defense.

Broncos training camp rewind, Day 5: Russell Wilson keeps throwing interceptions, and Justin Simmons keeps catching them

More picks: Another day, another play where Justin Simmons gets the best of Russell Wilson. This time, it came on the quarterback’s first throw of competitive 11-on-11 drills, with Wilson seemingly trying to fit a ball into triple coverage only for the pass to sail over the intended target and into the arms of Simmons.

While Simmons deserves a tip of the cap for his third straight day with a pick of his teammate, Wilson’s errant throw and questionable decision-making warrants a wag of the finger.

The pick was the first of two interceptions thrown by Russ on Wednesday, with the second coming in the last red zone period and again featuring a debatable decision followed by an errant throw. Wilson had a target toward the left corner of the end zone, but instead opted to squeeze the ball into a small window with Jeudy streaking across the middle. The throw was behind Jeudy, and K’Waun Williams made a spectacular play on the ball, holding on through contact with one of his defensive teammates. So, yeah, two guys were right there.

Odds and Ends
• In addition to the two interceptions, Russell Wilson also missed an open Jerry Jeudy for what may have been a touchdown at the start of the second red zone session.

Remember when PM2 was throwing a bunch of picks in preseason before the 2018 season? The Donktards were calling him PMINT. They didn't understand that he was learning what he could and couldn't get away with in real games because he was a new NFL starter. That is NOY the case with Wilson. He's been in the league for years and should know better. He just flat out sucks.

Good. The sooner we’re rid of Wilson, the better.
