This team is 2002 Ravenesk or whatever year it was.
The 2000 Ravens wouldn't win past the Wild Card round if they played in today's NFL.

His YPA, YPG, and 3rd down conversion rates are terrible.

But his TD/INT and ball security is what keep him from dipping into below average.

I can think of 16 quarterbacks starting this year that I wouldn't take over Alex Smith. But probably only 16. I think he might be the exact middle of the pack.

Again, if we could get Alex smith from the second half of the giants game for the next 3 months?

Yeah I'd give us a chance to beat anyone

I get that except look around the leauge and offense isnt exactly a commodity.

Green Bay didn't score a TD until 2nd half.

Seattle same.

Last week was similar. There seems to be a defensive edge aside from Denver going on.

Cincy and Cleveland have stellar defenses.

Pitt, the Giants, and Houston cant score.

Weird shit going on.

It's what he always has been. I did a projection in the offseason of what his QB rating would be if he were to be asked to throw this many times per game and it projected almost perfectly. Just above 80.

Yeah, I just looked at the list... No I can't. I can't come up with 16 QB's that I would take Alex over. I can come up with 11, and two of them play for Jacksonville.

Yikes.

Yes, it seems that way.

That's also why this year went from chance to make playoffs, to bigger goals. We have a top 3 defense. SB caliber.

If our offense can be just a bit above average, we can do some damage.
