The call sucked. I'm not sure i've seen a worst call, but I refuse to put the blame on that call for the loss.

What pisses me off the most is the ref told the WR who did it "Wrong choice, pal" after he flagged him. What a piece of shit human being.

I think what Dallas is saying (and I agree) is that it's awfully hard to feel sorry for the Cat's when their D failed miserably against a team with a shit offense.

"It's a team game, and KSU offense compensated for the defensive lapses...until the refs absolutely ****ed them."

This is why the "play D and it won't matter" line doesn't work. You can make an equal case from the offensive side.

Bottom line, KSU was hosed out of a chance to take the thing to OT. Shit happens, I suppose, but there is no excusing the bullshit end to the game. No deflecting blame, trying to justify it, etc.

The refs ****ing screwed up, and KSU deserved better.

I agree with that. And IIRC (I only saw the highlights) that penalty screwed you out of tieing the score, not winning, so considering the way the defense was playing you may well have still lost anyway.

But none of this excuses that horrible call.

Is it possible to run a lineup of:

1. Pullen
2. McGruder
3. Samuels
4. Kelly
5. Judge

I know that lineup lacks at the Guard position (having a true point), and RMac is probably better suited to play the 3 than 2............But, can you imagine the possible damage we could inflict on opposing teams in the paint? It probably won't happen due to lack of ball-handling and defensive match-ups (at the Guard spot), but that potential lineup excites me nonetheless.

Defensively, I'd love to see this lineup when we mix in our 3-2 matchup zone with Jamar at the top. Offensively, we would have serious ball handling issues.
