I don't think anyone is ignoring this defense. I think they are quite fun to watch. The offense has to get better. Its been the mantra for weeks. I do think one thing you said was incorrect. The Colts showed last night that you can slow down the Broncos. They battered Peyton, and Darius Butler until he got nicked completely shut down Wes Welker. The Broncos are beatable.

Alex Smith is a huge anchor to the offense. But he is not the only ANCHOR on the offense. Lets not kid ourselves. What you have to do when you have a mediocre qb, at the very least, is surround him with weapons. I have maintained for weeks that upgrades at the receiver, and tight end positions would do wonders for this team. And don't even get me started on if Charles gets hurt..

Alex didn't have a bad day yesterday and people are still whining

This is what I did notice they are clearly looking for the deep ball more. A foot less on that throw to Charles and they might have had a td. Still working on some timing in that regard since, as it has been talked about over and over again they haven't looked for the deep pass much.

As to the Bono thing why do you not include what Alex has done with his legs? Alex already has more rushing yards in 7 games then Bono did all year 113 yards rushing Bono 218 for Alex Smith. Why did you not include that? I'm pretty sure one can figure out why. You don't want to give any positive for Alex at all. Must be so hard for you that this team is the ONLY unbeaten left.

Offense is coming around, line is getting better, Fasano is back, Alex trusting Bowe more and Alex throwing more down field.
