I am just about done with this franchise. I've tried so many times to stop caring and I can't.
But this might just be it. Somehow they've managed to turn their ineptitude on the fans and make US the bad guys? **** them. |

I was just thinking the same thing. Why put ourselves through the frustration of caring about the franchise, whenever it's apparent that it cares nothing about us?

Except that this fanbase has a previous history of cheering QB injury. We are screwed if they ask Grbac for a comment.

You guys are making too big a deal out of this. Which is worse, watching ONE QUARTER, 15 minutes, of Cassel's ineptitude or listening to Jaws rip on Chiefs' fans? Cassel's play is simply horrifying. It's so bad it makes it damn near impossible to watch a game and care. **** the media and just let us enjoy a Cassel-free game.

He'll be back after the bye week and we'll get to watch him again for the rest of the year. And probably again next year too. |

Like the treatment of Cassel beforehand somehow occurred in a vacuum and would not be perceived as part of the situation.

Right, and having to watch Cassel will be FAR WORSE than any petty insult from the media. That's the real punishment.

This is what a winner looks like. Chiefs fans are confused by this man.

Oh, ok. You think Pioli is trying to shame the fans into not voicing their pain next time he shoves the barbed-wire dildo up their ass.

I was at home and not at the game but we reacted just as the fans at the game reacted.
We cheered the positive yardage gained on that play. We stopped, gasped and held our breath for a few moments when Cassel was on the ground. We cheered again when we saw he was able to get up and walk off on his accord. What in the world would make Winston - or anyone - jump to the conclusion that anyone was cheering Cassel being hurt? That is just....well, insane in my book. I see fans at every game cheering positive plays and I see fans cheering whenever one of their players, who appears to be hurt, gets up and is able to walk off the field. That happens every Sunday. This is just an example fo someone wanting to be ticked off at the fans and it makes him look really bad - especially for being a first year player with the team we've been with - in may cases longer than he's been alive. Wow, he really made an ass of himself with this. |

But no, that's not what I was intimating. The national media would rather believe the KC fans are clueless neanderthals than admit that their beloved ex-Patriots are failures. |
