I'm hijacking the thread starter to use for an "updates" area. Sorry cardken. Here are a few recent updates:

I'm not even sure if they're close anymore. When Belichick left the Jets for the Pats that went to court with allegations of lying made by both sides under oath. That case was Belichick vs. Parcells and Pioli took Belichick's side. Belichick and PArcells aren't close anymore as a result. Parcells hired a GM last winter - if they were close, don't you think it would have been Pioli?
