I think what is missed is that the only reason Meredith came up in any of these discussions is that he and Brown were 5th round picks, and Meredith was still available when Brown was selected.

I just pointed out that I liked a different player better.

The fact that both Brown and Topou are on IR, and whether either injury is legitimate is irrelevent.
