Do you have any idea how insulting that is?

Outside a few Bronco and Raiders fans that post here, do you HONESTLY think anybody here HATES the Chiefs?

Do you think we'd be this passionate about anything if we HATED the Chiefs?

I've been a fan for 30 years. I've stuck with them through Frank Ganz, through the disappointments of 1995,1997, 2003. I've stuck with them through Gunther Cunningham and Herman ****ing Edwards.

I stuck with them through SCOTT PIOLI.

I stuck with them through 20 years of no playoff wins.

So yeah, when you accuse me, and others, of hating the Chiefs, it strikes a nerve.

Damn. I need a Prozac after reading all of that fail.

They were so bad in the 80s, I often wonder why I became a fan.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Been a fan since I knew what was happening. Passion yes. Disappointment yes. Pessimism yes. But still hanging on.

Gimme a break.

When you've been a fan for 30 years and STILL have to defend your fandom over and over, that's not putting yourself on a cross.

In the very early 80's, I was a Steelers fan. But the Chiefs were the "local" team. I didn't really start paying real attention until about 86 or 87.

Then 1989 happened and I was hooked.

Defending your fandom? You have stated many times you don't care about the Chiefs. Whats to defend? You don't care and you aren't upset.

There are 1,000 posts this past month that back that up.

I'm still a fan. I'm just past getting upset about what they do anymore. It's not hard to understand.

But you're 1000x the fan I am. I'm proud of you.

You must get bitched at a lot. You sure jump to that conclusion easily.

But thanks for proving my point.

What point did I prove?

Why would I care how much of fan you are? You stated you are happy with your current fandom.

I say good for you.
