Nice twisting of facts.

2 surgeries...for the same shoulder..and it appears to be healed. He's even fixed his throwing technique that was off because of it.

Concussion history. He had 1 concussion but because of the new rules he was kept to the side and then Kap came in and took his job.

Yeah, it is pretty unreasonable to think he might stay healthy.

fair enough, thats the only reason i had them pegged for OL in the first. I was incorrect either way, no worries.....c'est la vie

I don't see any reason get in any hurry for them to sign Alex Smith to a big long term contract.

See how he does in preseason and first 6 games. Mostly see if he has to take a lot of hits from this OL they have and that maybe a big concern if they want him to stay healthy long term.

I think a lot of pressure is going be on Eric Fisher at LT & he better be in shape to hold up.

Use Alex Smith as a stop gap until we can get our draft pick QBotf next year even 2016 but not have Alex Smith hold us hostage with a big long term contract before we see how this season is going go.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

You just have to laugh. The Chiefs had a bunch of us hoping for a QB.

Honestly I had no desire for anyone other than Bortles.

He was gone far too early for us to have a shot at...

Sounds somewhat sane and simple doesn't it?

It won't happen.

Get ready for it but I think there's going to be a lot of pissed off people here soon...

There's 11 more months to get a deal. Not a big deal that they aren't close.
