The MIA Heat Show Thread

LA will be dethroned. The LAC Lake Show will be dead. So it's time to create a thread to follow the new dynasty.

Going on tour starting this October.

Eh. Nature of the beast.

Everyone knows that there's a 99% chance that the Heat and Lakers will meet in the finals. So the trash talk has started early. ...11 months early

I think having a "Max" contract is dumb. It's going to influence players to play in the major markets like Chicago, New York, LA, South Florida, etc. If you give players the option to go to any team for the same money, not many superstars are going to want to go to Memphis, Minnesota, Milwaukee, Cleveland, OKC, etc. Pretty sure that is what the NBA was going for. That makes me like KD so much more because he re upped for five more.

The league is already hemorrhaging money out the ass. They need a max contract.

Not butthurt at all. Its the fact that for me as a Laker fan i would love to face them in the finals. It would be ****ing awesome. Just like this last year, i wanted Boston. Now that the Lakers got passed them and avenged their 08 defeat. Its on to the next. Thats the heat. I wouldnt mind Chicago. They are going to be a damned good team.

Don't put yourself into the finals just yet.

The Jazz and Thunder got better this off-season. The Jazz with Jefferson and Bell, and a healthy Okur and Kirilenko are a completely different team than what they saw in the '10 playoffs, which was substantially closer than the 4-0 results would initially indicate. Jefferson should flourish in Sloan's system.

And the Thunder gave the Lakers all they could handle, and adding Aldrich finally gives them the shot blocker and rebounder that they were missing.

And the Bulls got a whole lot better. Boozer gives them a legit PF, and Brewer is one of the few guys in the league that can bring solid defense against a guy like James. And Korver paced the league in three point shooting last season.

Right now, I think that the Bulls, Magic and Celtics have deeper teams than the Heat.

I don't think it's anywhere close to a given that the Heat or Lakers are headed to the Finals.

Yeah, the Heat had tons of fans. Is that why the arena was half empty last year when they were a playoff team?

I enjoy the fact that my most hated athlete maybe ever took the easy way out. I think the Miami/LA rivalary will be good for the NBA.

However, there's nothing butthurt about calling out the Heat fans who have basically crowned their ass already.

Im sorry the thunder didnt give them all they can handle. Once. Kobe guarded Westbrook. It was series over. If that would have happened from game 1. It goes 5 games

Good team though. They will be better. But barring injuries. Its 4 straight

There's depth everywhere. This likely will be the Lakers best bench since the 01 season.

Shove the 3 AmEgo's up your ass, Heat fan(s).
Nice Post!!!
