How can they get away with this unless Murray fails a physical? All signs are pointing to a full recovery.

KC will showcase Bray in the first preseason game. Give him a bunch of well scripted plays to make him look good. Then, they will trade him.

Sure.

Would have been nice to see them stick to that win-now philosophy, though, rather than abandoning it after one year because the stadium was filled and the roar was restored.

Trade the QB on our roster with the highest ceiling?

Don't you dare!

The last time Bray was on the filed was the 4th preseason game and he just threw 3 TD passes and led the team to a win. Nothing else is said about him. Then, KC drafts Murray and you start seeing reports they drafted Murray because Bray couldn't handle the playbook. BS. The team is planting seeds and spin.

That "report" came from one individual, right? Nobody else has reported this...

Second, this report came during the offseason....then during OTA's reports are that he has been doing as well, if not better than the other backups. Would you consider this progress with Bray, or a decline in the other QBs?

Back from OTA practice No. 9. WR Weston Dressler has a hamstring injury. He missed part of practice.

Herbie Teope‏@HerbieTeope·1 min
#Chiefs WR Weston Dressler injured his hamstring and did not finish the OTA workout today.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·56 secs
The DT Memorial Play of the Day goes to Dressler, who juked CB Phillip Gaines out of his shoes at the LOS and beat him deep on a go route.

Herbie Teope‏@HerbieTeope·9 mins
Prior to leaving the field, Chiefs WR Weston Dressler put an absolutely sick double move on CB Phillip Gaines to beat him downfield.

Herbie Teope‏@HerbieTeope·8 mins
Other items of note, Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles was not present for OTAs today for personal reasons.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·7 mins
#Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles was not at practice today. He was excused for personal reasons.

Herbie Teope‏@HerbieTeope·6 mins
LB Ben Johnson, who’s missed recent OTAs with a hamstring, returned to practice today.

Herbie Teope‏@HerbieTeope·6 mins
Also absent today were CBs Flowers, Owens and David Van Dyke, LB Justin Houston and WR Junior Hemingway.

Adam Teicher‏@adamteicher·6 mins
WR Weston Dressler pulled up after making catch at practice today with hamstring injury. Didn't return and looks like he'll miss more time

Herbie Teope‏@HerbieTeope·5 mins
CB Sean Smith ran with the second team for a third straight day. He came up with two INTs off QBs Daniel and Bray during 11-on-11.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·5 mins
Had a good interview with #Chiefs QB Tyler Bray today. Look for a story about him soon...

Adam Teicher‏@adamteicher·5 mins
Jamaal Charles was absent from practice but was excused for personal reasons

TJ Carpenter‏@TJCarpenterWHB·6 mins
Chiefs WR Weston Dressler injured his hamstring in practice today. Left practice after making play. May miss some time.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·5 mins
QB Aaron Murray scrambled at least once today. He looked pretty quick, despite the brace on his knee.

TJ Carpenter‏@TJCarpenterWHB·5 mins
Sean Smith on 2nd team for 3rd straight day. But he made some really good plays today.

Herbie Teope‏@HerbieTeope·4 mins
With Jamaal Charles not present, RBs Knile Davis and Joe McKnight split reps with the first team during 11-on-11.

TJ Carpenter‏@TJCarpenterWHB·5 mins
#Chiefs Dwayne Bowe said he feels like he’s in the best shape of his career and chemistry with Alex Smith has never been better. Looked it.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·4 mins
CB Sean Smith is still on the 2nd team but he had a couple of picks. One came off a deflection. On the other Bray stared down a WR on an out

TJ Carpenter‏@TJCarpenterWHB·4 mins
Jamaal Charles missed practice today for personal reasons. Davis looked impressive in his absence with the 1st team.

Nick Jacobs‏@Jacobs71·3 mins
I'll have OTA stuff in 20 when I get back to the station. Clark Hunt was in attendance today.

TJ Carpenter‏@TJCarpenterWHB·3 mins
#Chiefs TE wunderkind Demetrius Harris dropped a pass for the first time in 3 weeks today. Also made several freaky athletic plays.

Herbie Teope‏@HerbieTeope·3 mins
Safety Daniel Sorenson turned in good day w/ 2nd team. Had what would've been a pick-6 off of Chase Daniel, also broke up pass in coverage.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·3 mins
Bray connected with Darryl Surgent on a deep ball today. It came on a blown coverage - Ron Parker pulled up while the ball was in the air.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·2 mins
Ron Parker is still running with the first team at right cornerback, by the way. Malcolm Bronson getting some nickel work.

Herbie Teope‏@HerbieTeope·2 mins
QB Alex Smith had hands down two of the prettiest passes today, both back-shoulder variety to WR Dwayne Bowe in tight coverage.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·2 mins
#Chiefs S Eric Berry made a play in single-high coverage. Ranged to the sideline and swatted away a pass BUT Murray stared his WR down.

Nick Jacobs‏@Jacobs71·2 mins
The Chiefs talk about family, long time executive Jack Steadman was joined by John Dorsey as they watched practice with us in the media.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·59 secs
Murray came back to make a great throw on an out route to Jerrell Jackson over Bronson’s outstretched fingertips.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·56 secs
#Chiefs QB Alex Smith was righteous today. He was decisive and accurate and had a great run of pinpoint passes.

Nick Jacobs‏@Jacobs71·31 secs
Clark Hunt even stopped by late in practice. That's just a perfect example of why the organization is headed in the right direction.

For daily TE Demetrius Harris update, he actually dropped what appeared to be an easy catch, but made up for it later with a leaping grab.

Two of the best came on passes to Bowe. One was a contested completion to Bowe in single coverage...

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·28 secs
The other came when he threw it up to Bowe along the sideline. Bowe was covered but the CB hadn’t turned his head. Smith is trusting Bowe.

Just one obvious black mark Smith today: Tried to go downfield and had it picked off by LB Joe Mays near the numbers.
