um, I just got a package of corned beef. It's like 4 lbs and it came with a spice bag. So I put the beef ,the spice pack with some extra ground pepper, salt and I added a little rosemary in a pot with some water and brought it to a boil. Then low heat for about 2.5 hrs. After that I will add the carrots and celery (chopped) for about 20 min, then I'll add chopped cabbage for another 15-20 min and slice up the beef and whoolah!
