Broncos have parameters of deal in place for Kaepernick
EDIT. Sorry for the original thread title, I read the first part of Schefter's tweet and thought the deal was done and came to CP to post it.
Spoiler!

Case of blind squirrel finding the nut. Him getting benched for Blaine Gabbert tells you that the gif I posted is much more indicative of his play last season and the way he has been trending in his development, or lack-thereof.
DT and Sanders are going to love playing with this guy. |

While I'd love to see Kaepernick fall on his face, I Kubiak's system will be very strong for his skill set.
People are forgetting his OC last year was ****ing Geep Chryst and the offense was gutted. Who? Yeah. |

Denver won without a QB last year.
Spread option > Run Kaep so much defense has to spread out > dink and dunk safe stuff > win with defense again

Why does everybody make the assumption that every running QB will be better in Kubiak's system? Kaepernick was trash his last year in Harbaugh's system too. |

It is very hard to win consistently with no offense. Defense wins championships and can get hot and drag the O to a championship but more often than not D with no O gets to the playoffs and gets bounced.

The 49ers dealt with injuries on Offense in Harbaugh's final season. Chiefs fans think he's Matt Cassel and Denver people think he will be the second coming of Elway. He'll at least be a serviceable QB for the Broncos, and they won a lot of ****ing games last year with just that. |

Kaepernick is trash...Andy should be fired if the Chiefs don't win the division this season.
