There is only one bright side to all of this:
He's injury prone. Hopefully when he inevitably gets knocked out of the game the backup takes his spot for good, Kaepernick style. |

And that my friend is a prime example of how stupid this fan base is. They hang off whatever ESPN and NFL Network tell them. They don't watch a lick of college football.

Yet pundits say he could go to the Jags at number two or raiders at #3. Good enough for them but not us?

100% agree...Also, lets say this trade never happened and we drafted Geno with the first pick...Geno turns out to be a bust( which I think he will be)...Now who do we have? We needed this..I'm not happy we gave up our 2nd rd pick for him..But we needed a Veteran QB.

I would be happy in the end if we win a Super Bowl with Alex Smiff. I just don't see it happening nore do I have hope we will. This is why I am so angry and hurt over the deal. They cut me deep. |

I stand behind my original comment on this trade. I'm cool with this trade as long as we bring in some kind of competition and not pull a cassel. My problem with pioli wasn't that he brought in Matt my problem was never bringing in competition. When we had it he let it go so Matt wasn't threatened. If we do this with Alex we are in big trouble.
