Your top 5 bands you would like to see live?

What are your top 5 bands/ singers you would/ would've like to see "live"? They dont have to be in order, dead or alive and in older band in their prime.

1. Staind
2. Metallica
3. AC/DC
4. Lynard Skynard
5. George Straight

I wouldve loved to have seen Aerosmith again.

You're not that much older than me.....of all those you listed here are the ones that I managed to see in person:

I just remembered two more and updated my post, ZZ Top in 1983 and Uriah Heep in 1974. I graduated from high school in 1968 but the first concert I had a chance to see was Vanilla Fudge, and that was in an armory with about 2000 people sitting on the floor. They had "You Keep Me Hangin' On" playing all over the radio at the time and but very few rock bands came to my area, St. Petersburg, Florida, and when they did they only played the armory. Probably if I could of made it down to Miami I could of seen the Doors and Zeppelin and others but back then in high school I had a shitty car and usually not a lot of money and most of my friends were in the same situation.

We had a nice civic center, The Bayfront Center, that opened about 1964 but only shows like the circus and conventions used the place. The only concert I remember at the civic center was a Dick Clark event with Paul Revere and the Raiders, Keith and Tommy Roe, I thought about going but didn't. 1970 and 1971 I was in basic training and tech school and then in Korea for 13 months, so I really didn't get to see a large civic center show until 1972 when I was stationed in Savannah, Georgia and saw Deep Purple and Jethro Tull. The Tull show was "Thick as a Brick" and if you've seen the new video "Live at the Isle of Wight" they appeared just like that. He had the long-tail plaid coat, the hair and beard and was wild, in accordance with the album, people dressed like rabbits and hopped across the stage, giant phones would ring, it was to this day the most impressive show I've seen. The 1996 Tull show with ELP I saw wasn't even like the same band.

I can see pretty much any current band, so by definition I'd most want to see bands that are no longer in operation.

1. The Beatles of the late 60s (should be at the top of everyone's list).
2. Glenn Miller
3. The Beach Boys
4. Boston (They're gone, right?)
5. Frank Sinatra (young)

Aren't the original members of KISS back together and touring somewhere? That could prove to be an interesting show.

Also, Steve Miller Band of the mid-seventies.

I've seen the Grateful Dead, but I would have loved to have been old enough to see them in the mid 70's.

I'd love to have seen The Doors in the late 60's, Bob Marley in the 70's, and the Talking Heads or The Cure in the 80's.

It's not a band, but it would have been cool to have been at the original Woodstock.

I've pretty much have seen everybody. One of my first shows ever, was Kiss. I wasn't impressed. I thought it would be a cool show with all the explosions and stuff, but I ironically found it rather annoying and way over-hyped.

I would have loved to have seen Miles Davis, Stevie Wonder, Parliament, or Van Morrison. I would've liked to have seen the Eagles in their prime or Supertramp or Bob Segar, or even ELO when they had that monstrous alien ship on stage.

I only do jamband shows anymore, and I've seen about everybody I want to see with the exception of MOFRO- I'd love to see them.

Saw The Beach Boys twice in the 80's, both times at Six Flags and stayed for both shows. Had a great time. The only band I really want to see live is Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band.

2) vintage ACDC (pre bonn scott death)
3) Korn between follow the leader and issues
4) Floggin' molly (gotta love drunken irish punk)
