Would have been nice to see what Haley would do with a legit QB. Of course, it was a major mistake for a first-time head coach to be his own OC and I never liked the coaching staffs he assembled so all of that would have to have been fixed, as well.

I would have liked Weis to stay and all that, but I would not say Haley or any coach is making a mistake taking duel roles. Plenty of successful coaches have been their own OC and won championships. Jon Gruden, Mike Holmgren & Sean Payton, to name a few. So, there's really no integrity in your statement regarding this.
