Oh, I agree. I was only focusing on them as a chicken joint. I'm a former resident and frequent visitor and have an entire list of places that I'd rather eat at before heading to the Maple Leaf for beers and music.

My only complaint with Popeye's is that the food is too fattening. Otherwise, it's close to perfect. The skin is tangy and crisp, the chicken moist, and the sides are unique and wonderful. I ate 64 pieces by myself in two days once.

I love me some Popeye's, but it's a bit overpriced for what you get. Although it's not so bad if you do the buy 8 pcs get 8pcs free deal on Mondays.
