Took it correspondence my sr. year of HS. Had to get another half English credit to graduate.

It was pretty sad. I got the packet, wrote the seven papers in a day, handed them to my swimming coach (who was my teacher 3 hours a day) and he mailed them in at the right times. I got a C+.

I was 19 and confused so i tooke a sales job with a company out of KC called Midwest Sound Marketing which had me selling K-settes on a door to door basis.......they sent me to place's I could qualify on being a "local boy" and I knew they wouldn't close but i wrote'em up anyways.....I wrote 15 deals in quick order but in the end I got paid on two......Hell man I could nail a 10 page canned pitch and knock'em down but in the end I was just trying my best to..............work till I could get picke up at closing time! The best thing I learned from all that was when I had to pee during a sale was standing there as the women of the house walked out of the toilie and she said...."It's all urine"/your'n!

i once worked in a market research company straight out of college. The pay sucked and the boss sucked and i just used him until i found a better job

Call center job. Basically calling old people in the South asking them to donate to the RNC. Well many times the person I called for would be dead. That always sucked. When a woman answered the phone the convo sometimes went like this "Hello is this Gloria Smith?" "this is Mrs Frank Smith" would be the answer. OH so you have no identity of your own. Sheesh. Luckily the job only lasted 2 weeks. It was a dark dark time in my world.

Doing house linen at a Nursing home. Yes, pissy and shitty sheets. Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering. Oh, the horror. This was 14 years ago at the Nursing home on Wornall Rd. in S. KC, just N. of Martin City. Back then it was called 'Meadowbrook Manor of Kansas City'...

working at a place that made diamond tip things for machines that go into coal mines, I sit between 2 machines over 1700 degree hot and tapped the tip onto a round thing, they would come out orange hot, and when I would tap the tip orange lava stuff would pop out, I wore shorts in the snow and still burned up. I was the only woman who worked there.

the other part of the night I'd take these things we just made and put them in a machine that spun them around and made them shiney and then take them out and put them in this heavy metal basket and took them to a table and put metal bands on them. Hot, heavy, hard work
