I'm calling out myself ...

That's right. It's time I faced the ugly truth.

I'm disgusted that, for over 25 years, I've supported a team that can't win a playoff game, let alone make it to the SB.

And, I'm utterly embarrassed that I actually read Mr. Iowanian's posts about how he climbed a tree and that I hardly ever participate in Mr. RainMan's polls about who prefers green beans over ford transmissions.

And, what's with the limerics? What kind of self-respecting person would write poems pointing out the extraordinary and remarkably diminutive nature of Taco John's sex organ? Or, post thanksgiving stories featuring villians named "Stuffing Monster" and "Sweet Potato Pie"?

I've finally had it and resign to either modify my BB behaviour or ban myself from the Planet for good.

I have never planted this ass at Arrowhead. We moved away from Kansas City in 1969. I have been a sucker from afar from all these years. I hope, someday, to be a sucker live and in person. I long to pay for the overpriced ticket, beer, concessions and parking just like the rest of you. In the meantime, color me Jets green with envy. I need to get there before I die.

I did get to see Joe Willie play against the Colts, 1970 I think. The Colts won and I joined in with other fans throwing aluminum foil balls from the hot dogs at a loud and obnoxious Jets fan. Good times.

Get there early and stay late, but get there, the place is a hoot. That's easy for me to say though, I'm 6-0 at Arrowhead so I have always left with a good attitude.

Then I think I speak for all of us in saying you should go more often. Maybe you could sell something.....like your house or a kid.....I know those tickets are expensive.

The game tickets aren't the big problem. I live in Virginia, that's a two day drive. I'll try to exercise my positive mojo more next year, then again we've been saying "maybe next year" for a long damn time.
