I believe he may pull it off. Considering his limited action the first 7 games that is really impressive.

LJ now has half a season as a starter. If you projected LJ's numbers since then over a full season, this is what you get.

470 carries, 2300 yards

50 receptions, 510 yards

520 touches, 2810 total yards, 28 TD's

Yeah, not too bad.

We need to find a viable backup RB.

I'm not worried about the kid running out of gas (hell he told Lenny in the postgame interview he was fresh and ready to go play a double header), but I am worried about the kid getting hurt...

Too often you see a phenom get hurt and then never look the same again, no matter how serious the injury...

Yeah, we honestly do have to make sure we have something behind him to give him a blow every now and then. I'm afraid we've pretty much already wasted the best stretch of his career. Not that he's going to go in the tank or anything close, but to play at THAT level is tough, I mean for 8 games to get 1400 total yards, that's almost unheard of. If he can keep doing that he's the greatest running back ever.

We have one, his name is Priest Holmes, great at pass blocking, receiving and getting the rock in the redzone into the endzone. I really think he will be back for that purpose.

****in stud, dominating. I remember out of college I expected him to be a pretty good RB for us, like an eddie george. He definetly surpassed that with more power, speed and moves. Total package once he can figure out how to block.
