It's ok. I heard in St Louis, they had a banner hanging this weekend that said "Kansas City, only 250 miles away from great baseball!"

That my friends, is ownership. 1985 still stings.

I don't believe that. Most folks here have forgot it.

Again 21 years ago. Your last playoff appearance.
Is this all you got?

Sounds like 250 mile thing is right.

The comments by announcers on STL Channel 11 during the game yesterday rang true.

"Where would the Royals be if they hadn't traded. Dye, Damon,
Beltran, a decent team"

But with Glass and his artifical $35M salary ceiling....
it will never happen.

Also Need Pitching to win.

Get a new owner.

You can still be the worst team in baseball.
You can go back to replacing the Red Sox as the biggest chokers in baseball. At least the Royals won it when we had our shot. You know I wouldn't give two shits about the tards if I didn't get so ****ing tired of hearing about their generation after generation of fan support and tradition from every douchebag from St. Louis. If they endured 21 years of not making the playoffs that tradition would shrink faster than an East St. Louis crack whore.

It's pretty pathetic. More than 20 years later, no matter how many times they beat us, they still feel inadequate.

Do you see Steeler fans still sniffling about how we beat them in the playoffs almost 20 years ago? Do Royals fans despise the Phillies? Are Yankee fans even hanging banners up <5 years later about how much they dislike the Marlins?

Bunch of crybabies. Projecting frustration about their perennial choke onto us for something that happened before many of them were out of diapers.

Hence the sign about KC 250 miles from baseball.

The Cards put up a good team, year in and year out.

A real continuous improvement process, unlike the Royals since Mr.K
isn't running things, cheap out Glass won't try and do or pay any one.

Takes money to compete in MLB. for KC sake he needs to go.

More about 1985? At least Cardinal fans don't have to live in the past. It is good to see the Royals winning though.

I'm sad to say that the Chiefs and Cardinals are mirror images of each other. Have a great regular season, and choke in the playoffs. Maybe thats why the Turdbird fans root for the Chiefs instead of the Rams.

They don't? That's why I see Cardinals fans walking around with those gay T-shirts that say "Got rings?" Nevermind there last one was a couple decades ago.

Choke in the playoffs? They've made it to the World series a few times after winning their division. They may not choke too bad in the playoffs, but they do choke big time in the World Series.

What a bunch of crap. Cardinal fans are the ones who always start this discussion as smack, as usual. Then act like Royals fans are the ones living in the past. Typical.
