Bengals vs. Colts MNF Thread - Page 5

It's actually a huge MNF game for once, probably their best of the season. One that has huge playoff implications too. Colts need to win to stay in position for a 1st round bye... a loss would drop them to a 3 seed. A Bengals win would make them 9-5 and ahead of everybody for the wild card, a loss would drop them back into the huge pile of 8-6/7-7 teams, with games against Denver and Pittsburgh to finish. Should be lots of scoring too.

The MNF crew is punishing Marvin Lewis for his team's performance by spending that last 7 minutes of the game talking about the legal woes of the Bengals.

They just discussed the fact despite media reports to the contrary, that NYG did not control their playoff destiny, that there was a scenario out ther by which the Giants could win their last two games and miss the playoffs. What ever media outlet made that mistake should have been using nfl-forecast.com.

What's funny is that the teams that had the winning records (Chiefs/Bengals) are shitting the bed, while the teams with the piss-poor losing records (Titans/Bills) are sneaking back into the playoffs.
