It's been proved that not signing on time leads to injuries.

Not to worry Chiefs fans. A one legged Dorsey is still better than most two-legged DT's...

I hope his recovery is swift and complete. I want to see this guy play at his best against NFL talent.

I'd say at this point the bigger injury is Albert. The fact that he is probably out for training camp means he will not be ready for the beginning of the season. The fact that he misses out on camp means that he probably will not be ready to play this year. Our Oline had enough questions going in already.
Not sure how you can blame the strength and conditioning coach when two rookies go down. He probably hasn't had much time to even work with them. Most rookies will work on their own until they actually sign.

I second that. Good luck to the Chiefs and Mr. Dorsey. Where's Claythan at to say, "Stay down bi*ch." We were so lucky to hear from him over at the mane last year when Moss got injured.

The good thing is, when he gets healthy again, he's going to play.

Albert is going to be day to day, Dorsey going to be week to week. Don't like the sound of "week to week".

I think a lot of us have been pleading with Him to do so for years. He's not listening.

I was at camp tonight, and saw the injury. It really didn't look that bad. He kind of got crumpled up on the Line, and went down. Dorsey stayed down less than a minute after the play was over, and then got up and walked off the field. He stood on the sideline for a couple of minutes before the trainer got him to come over to the training table, and put ice on it. He stayed on the sideline for a bit, until the trainer had him go to the locker room. If it were an ACL/MCL, I don't think they would have allowed him to stay on the field after applying ice to it....
It really didn't look that bad, and Dorsey didn't seem to be in a ton of pain. He just looked a litte disheartened that he couldn't finish practice. As long as we get both Albert and Dorsey back by the last preseason game, I don't think we will miss a beat. KC isn't going to be a contender this season anyway. I'm just hoping they can go when the regular season rolls around. |
