Funny, when Shanahan went for 2 and the win against Denver in the first game of the year, everyone was talking about how Shanahan has guts to do that and Herm never would. I'm sure TN_Chief was saying that too.

The play succeeded. They needed it to force OT, but its not like it never works.

Herm's team played a good game today. Just fell short.

You play to win the game. This close but no cigar bit isn't going to cut it. The team is banged up because they are old in certain spots, have an oline that can't block for crap, and because much of our team should be riding on the bench somewhere or even out of the league but are starting here.

We played not-2-lose in Tampa and played to win in SD.

HUGE growth for a man like Herm.

And the team. Wow.
