Orton and Cassel have both been in the league the same amount of time. It's just Cassel was able to warm the bench for the Patriots for 4 years before he got his shot. Orton was thrown into the fire as a rookie without Randy Moss or Wes Welker.

You're right DUMBASS. Orton has plenty of time on the field to prove to EVERYONE (because there isn't a damn soul who will say that Orton might be a franchise QB) that he is not a franchise QB. Cassel had one very good season to prove that he just MIGHT be.

He has never, ever, never thrown for over 60%. Not at Purdue. Not in the pros. Never.

He topped out at a very consistent 60.x% his last three years at Purdue, and hasn't yet worked up that high in the pros. You have no basis for this statement.

He got all of the gimmes he's gonna get last night. Any halfwit at DC is gonna look at the Bears tapes, look at Denver's preseason tapes and do what I described several pages ago. Kyle Orton is not exactly an enigma at QB. Anyone who has actually studied him (and not just fallen in love with him because he suddenly plays for their team) should know exactly what he can and cannot do.

The first 8 games of last season he had a higher QB Rating, better YPA, and a better TD/INT ratio than Cutler had. He was completing over 60% of his passes as well. The Bears actually thought they had a franchise QB before Orton got injured against the Lions.

Do you really think that if they thought Orton was worth a SHIT, that they would have traded away 2 st rnd picks,a 3rd rnder, AND Orton's sorry ass.
