What are your Canada Day plans?

There's apparently going to be a "Canada Appreciation Day" event in downtown Denver today, in anticipation of Canada Day tomorrow.

I feel pretty good about this since I happened to have a Gordon Lightfoot song playing when I walked by. What do you plan to do to show our friendly appreciation to our neighbors in the north?

Just don't go outside of North America and tell anyone you're American. You may not want to know what the rest of the world thinks.

Yeah, yeah. I know. Just get a bit defensive when it comes to the country I love. I apologize to my American friends for any offensive remarks. Now, I expect all 30 or so of you to apologize in return for all of your degrading comments.

Eh, we just tease Canada because we like it. I can't think of any other country I'd rather share a 3,000 mile border with.

I like Canada. I went to school in Buffalo and I used to go there all the time. I just like goofing on Canada because it's funny, and because some Canadians get mad about it.
