Someone posted video clips of all his snap in the preseason last year and there wasn't much to see either way.
Why do we think he never saw the field last year even with the mess at the QB position? |

Personally, I think it was absolutely the right thing to do. IF he has any talent and can be groomed into a successful NFL QB, throwing him into the fire with all that mess would have likely stunted his potential, if not killed it altogether.

I think the Stanzi hype around here is silly as hell. That said, I'm rooting for the kid to kick ass. He's a Chief, after all. |

I hope he becomes Tom Brady 2.0 but this forum will be unbearable. Corn-based jizz everywhere.

As a way to get rid of Cassel I'd root for anybody.

My thoughts exactly. But he couldn't beat out Tyler Palko for playing time last season. I don't care how badly Haley snapped- if Stanzi was something amazing he would have seen the field last year.

No, but I bet it was someone that has read my posts. I'm totally not sure if you're serious. If you are, it's nice to have you aboard. |

He didn't see the field because there were no minicamps, no OTA's and no playbooks until training camp opened. He was a FIFTH ROUND draft choice, not fifth overall. |

Speaking of career backups, I'd love to see Stanzi steal Cassel's job, and watch Cassel throw a shitfit and try to get traded.

I would ****ing love that. Even better if somehow its back to New England and Cassel goes on to destroy Bill's legacy. Oh, so it was Tom Brady all along!
