Former Titans Cheerleader Molests 12 Year Old

It was just five months ago that former Bengals cheerleader Sarah Jones accepted a plea deal after being arrested for having sex with a 16-year-old boy while she was a teacher at a high school in Kentucky. Now another former cheerleader, Elizabeth Leigh Garner, faces charges for getting all grope-y in a bathroom with a minor. One more alleged cheerleader sexual assault on a minor and we have a trend story.

Garner was a member of the Titans Cheerleading squad four years ago. This past week she was indicted on charges of sexual battery and solicitation of a minor.

Murfreesboro police said while visiting a friend’s home she followed a 12-year-old boy into the bathroom, fondled him, and then tried to seduce him.

The police report stated that Garner told sex crimes detectives, “that she was drunk that evening and that she got the boy confused with a man that was also at the residence.”

“That’s just absolutely no excuse for sexual assaulting a child. If you can’t tell the difference between a 12-year-old and an adult then there are problems,” said Kyle Evans with the Murfreesboro Police Department.

Problems, indeed. Problems for whatever man this drunk woman confused for a 12-year-old. There’s only so much of that that can be attributed to inebriation. Oh, and problems for Garner, who is 42 year old and accused of molesting someone 30 years her junior.
