Brandon Flowers on Reid

@Edwerderespn: Brandon Flowers noted how unlike predecessor, Andy Reid willing to stop practice today to correct mistakes.

Just wow.

CP wanted Benn,Tate, Surgery Kindle, and Mush Cody so I'm not sure what all the captain hindsight shit is about.

Golden Tate is a lot better than Dexter McCluster, though.

Golden Tate didn't do jack shit until he had Russell Wilson throwing to him. And even with that he still has 300 less yards from scrimmage in his career than McCluster.

I've been saying that for quite some time, but apparently Dex's yards don't count or some other Spinnerson worthy shit

for every bad player CP wanted, there was also a really good player consensus player

CP was probably hitting on 50 percent and failing at 50 percent

Scooter was literally failing at 90 percent of his picks, and hit on 10 percent as it stands right now. He's Matt Millen type drafting.

If you go back to the Frank Ganz year, when the team finally made the playoffs for the first time in well over a decade, mainly due to special teams play, the players all lobbied for Ganz.
Wasn't it Albert Lewis that went to ownership begging for Ganz? I am just going from memory, but I think that is correct. At the time all we really had was newspaper articles.

Then when he got the job, he was over his head and it was a total disaster, very similar to RAC. We all know the Gunther story, very similar.

Not even close man.

Scooter was purely awful, but CP isn't much better....AT ALL. We'd have a 1-2 sucktastic QB duo of Clausen-Sanchez, with a nice side combo of turds Kindle Cody, and a splash of "future ProBowlas" we would rue the day of passing on in Jamon Meredith, Duke Robinson stinking up the OL. Yeah we failed on Colin Brown, but the guys we wanted sucked just as hard.

This place was 100% behind picking Derrick Johnson , and Eric Berry. When DJ fell to 15, this place was awash with splooge that had been building up the whole off season, same with Berry. The Dorsey pick was almost the same.

Yup, that doesn't stop the dipshits from doing there OMGz how could we pass on Rodgers, Flacco, or tradez all our picks for Ryan threads....when not one person wanted to do it at the time.

i dont care to go back and look but I remember this place being in love with guys like BJ Raji, any of the USC LBers( Clay, Cush, Rey), people loved Phil Taylor, Akeem Ayers, Brooks Reed, etc. there was a pocket of Mallet fans when he fell, there was plenty of people on Sam Acho

as for the 2010 draft, pick a player that was good, you couldnt really miss, CP didnt miss but Scooter did. All those LBers and TEs Scooter passed on, this place wanted.

im pretty sure CP on first rounders went something like

09 - Raji
10 - Berry
11 - Akeem Ayers, Phil Taylor, Dalton, anyone but Baldwin really.
12 - David DeCastro

the consensus here would have been much better off than what Scooter did.

Huh? You weren't even here in 09. It was Tru Fans vs. Baters.

Baters wanted Sanchez

Tru Fans wanted any number of players including Aaron Curry by many.

Berry was pretty consensus.

Many liked the Baldwin pick as well. VERY few if any at all wanted Dalton in the 1st, so that's ridiculous.

WTF has De Castro done other than get hurt?

Besides, people here have the bad habit of going "I'll be satisfied with this guy, this guy, this guy, this guy, or this guy" Then, 4 of them bust, 1 turns out decent and they wnat to get sucked off for saying they wanted to draft the good player. Sorry, it doesn't work that way
