From Terez Paylor of The Kansas City Star:
Eric Fisher is listed as out for the #Chiefs’ playoff game against Indy. Tamba Hali is listed as questionable

This is no different when the starting QB gets a mysterious illness. Andy thinks this is in the best interest of the team.

Oh and just to add insult to injury, the Chiefs will be facing the 2012 #1 overall pick who hasn't missed a snap in 2 years.

Thanks Trezelle Fisher.

Not good. Mathis kicked Stephenson's ass last time. Fisher did much better against him. I don't know what game you guys were watching. Remember the pathetic trip attempt by Stephenson? It was bad on the left side. So bad they quit lining him up against the rookie (Fisher).

Stephenson was absolutely terrible in that Colts game. He was worse in that game than in any game Branden Albert has ever played. How could anyone make a straight-faced claim that he has been better than Albert?

Mathis squat-****ed that idiot.

I agree, I wish we had Fisher. I bet Mathis lines up at LOLB all day this time.

He'll spend most of his time on the left side of the defense, but they'll move him around.

One thing I'd do if I was Pagano is line him up left and then send a blitzer on the defense's right side (Albert's side). It will force the Chiefs to single Mathis more often or stay in max protect, and without a WR who can reliably beat man coverage, it means that Smith will likely take a pounding.

I can't believe our offensive line is still not totally solid.

Two firsts. Two seconds. Two thirds.

And every single one of them could and should be upgraded.

Hudson, Fisher and Stephenson are all basically first year starters.

Allen is in his second year.

Schwartz is in his first year with the team.

Basically, this is the first year that any of these guys have played together, in a new system with a new coach, QB, OC, etc.

I thought that they really started to gel in the last 1/4 of the season.

Allen could potentially be upgraded, and Albert and Asamoah will likely be allowed to test the FA market.

I think this has the potential to be a pretty darn good offensive line in 2014.

yep,yep,yep

youngest Oline in the league

Albert is the only guy will any real starting experience before this year.

new system AND apparently changed from man to zone blocking scheme in the middle of the year.

specifically Fisher ... started on an NFL his 1st year from a small college. Played all year with a shoulder injury. Different offensive scheme, 2 different blocking schemes, rotating Oline beside him because of injuries.

He played pretty well all things consider imo.

Mathis beat both Stephenson and Fisher in that game. He abused Fisher on Smith's fumble/pick
