That is pretty impressive. Especially losing Hernandez right before the season started and Gronk a short time later..

Still, they had one of the best offensive lines in the league with the #9 rushing attack and #2 in TDs scored on the ground.

Brady really had a bad year. He barely completed 60% of his passes with 25 TDs (on more than 600 attempts!) and 11 INTs.

He also looked atrocious in the AFCCG.

36-year old QBs rarely get better. The Patriots have absolutely no speed on offense and that is going to be their death again.

No, they didn't. They lost Vollmer early and the OC/ORG play was terrible last year. That's why they drafted 3 OL this year.

Take a look at what he had for receivers. What Brady did last year was borderline miraculous.

The receivers haven't really improved, though. Make with the bullshit about Aaron Dobson ascending, now.

I don't know if Dobson will ascend (your word) or not. The same is true of Boyce and Thompkins. I know that Amendola is a quality receiver when healthy and that Edelman is a capable receiver when healthy. I do think the team should have better addressed both the WR and TE positions this offseason, though, so I'd agree with you from that standpoint. Talk is that Finley and Keller have been brought in for visits. If either of them is healthy and signed, that would strengthen the TE position a lot.

Amendola and Edelman remind me of Rice and Taylor.

I think the Ravens are very underrated. I liked their draft and they improves in needed areas with Owen Daniels, Steve smith and Jeremy zit tag.

Also think the coach from Houston will help the offense.

Those teams had elite defenses.

The Patriots have been a top 10 scoring defense in 7 of the last 8, and 10 of the last 13 seasons, even when the personnel has been sub par. The 2001 team was 6th in points and 24th in yards and won the SB, while the 2011 entry was 15/31 and still got to the SB.

As long as Brady is still pretty much Brady, the Patriots will be a SB threat.

SD is the most overrated team in the AFC.

They don't even go to the playoffs last year if we play 16 games instead of throwing the last one in an attempt to stay healthy.

They got the inconsistent Bengals who can win or lose to anyone in the NFL any given week.

Only one team in the AFCW is going to the playoffs this year...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
