Jax Teller and the Mayans are at WAR

http://www.cnn.com/2015/05/17/us/texas-shooting/

9 dead, 18 wounded, 4 bikers killed by police in a shootout... more hardass methheads supposedly headed to Waco as we speak to back up their brothers.

Its time to kill Clay, he's bad for the club.... man.

If you have to ask why we ride, you wouldn't understand. You can say what ever you want about bikers, and what you think of them, but I'll bet you'll only do it from the safety of a keyboard. I'm not 1%, but I ride. A lot. So go **** yourself if you want to judge me or any of my friends.

Yes the Bandidos is the same club that was in GV last year. The difference is that was a national meetup, so it was ONLY Bandidos, and lots of them. It would have taken an army of rival club members to cause any trouble at that meet. This was a meeting with several clubs, not all were 1%, discussing issues between clubs and making sure everyone was playing by the rules of the MC world. This type of violence is extremely frowned upon at these meetings. One thing is for sure, we haven't got the real story about what happened.

They're over here in Deep Ellum all the time. One time I saw a bunch of bikes parked outside this bar and sure enough there was a Bandido proby standing watching over them. It was just like you see on SOA.

The people that go to these rallies are normal people. Police crack down on "colors" during these types of rallies. Ending it will only hurt the businesses that rake in money. Suck it up. They aren't breaking any laws so there is no reason to end it.

The story so far is that the Cossacks weren't invited. They had recently began wearing a Texas lower rocker panel so there were increasing tensions between them and the Bandidos (as the Bandidos consider Texas their state). There are rumors that the Cossacks have been cozying up to the Hell's Angels. The Bandidos will not let anyone even consider Hell's Angels affiliation in Texas. They have killed more than one person that they thought were trying to start up Hell's Angels in Texas.

So the Cossacks weren't invited to this meeting. They decided to show up anyways (wearing the disputed Texas rocker). Apparently there was a dispute in the parking lot (over parking or someone's foot being run over). The fight started. Guns came out. Cops start shooting.

They're all over my side of Fort Worth (I live in West Fort Worth). They and the Aryan Brotherhood pretty much run North Fort Worth's and West Fort Worth's meth trade. Mexican gangs run the South side's meth trade.

If you're not ****ing with them, they generally don't make waves. If you are ****ing with them, then you are probably going to end up in a hole in the ground.

We have a large motorcycle rally here as well which the locals hate for the most part. It's pretty miserable, and we basically have to close our business down because our customers can't get to us and the bikers don't really shop local, preferring to buy crap from the traveling carney vendors.

We just close my wife's store and leave town these days during the rally. It's just too freaking annoying. A lot of locals have tried repeatedly to get the permit pulled and rallied against the rally, but I don't really think that's cool, either. Let the dudes have fun. If you don't like it, then use the weekend to get away.

I actually have no problem with the people (they appear to mostly be accountants and dentists and the like). I have extreme problems with the excessive obnoxious noise they cause. Living in downtown Austin I have an EXTREMELY high tolerance for noise. I have never been one to complain about the countless crap bands you hear walking down the street. But that pales in comparison to the constant revving of engines and other douchebaggery during RoT.

Show up, drink and take over bars to hang out talking about your bikes and you are a-ok in my book. Sit outside revving your toy in a feeble attempt to compensate for whatever is lacking in your life and I will gladly point out what a complete douche you are being. I have pointed out how inconsiderate they are being on many occasions. But as I have already said, 99.99% of these guys are middle age professionals, so I'm not exactly taking much of a risk doing so.

EDIT: I understand the need for bikes to make enough noise to be noticed but 80db at 15ft is plenty. I'd love to see that set in law and actually ENFORCED.

This exactly. I live a couple of blocks off one of the main street in town, and the noise from the motorcycles is enough to still be loudly annoying even at 3 in the morning as they go revving up and down the main street.

Our town has a noise ordinance. We've repeatedly asked the city to at least enforce said ordinance during this festival to no avail.

Our festival organizers are also a bunch of douches who do fake "studies" that claim there are 300k people in attendance at the rally, which is just a ridiculous figure. We ALSO show no spike in sale tax revenue from the rally and, as I said, many businesses have just given up and close down during the rally after attempting various ways to try to capitalize on it and make it profitable. Basically the hotels, gas stations, and a few bars profit heavily from the rally. Everyone else gets screwed.
