Packers open as 6.5 point favorites

with an over/under of 48

Last time I went to a Chiefs away MNF football game was Oct '94 in Denver, hoping I can relive that feeling 21 years later.

Looking forward to visiting Lambeau and hoping this game is considered a classic when fans look back years from now.

Line movement so far has been Packers -6.5,-7 and now back to -6.5 I don't see any major movements taking place,of course if Adams and Lacy were both unable to play I could see a further drop of possibly -5.5 or -5

Hope so too. We did have a classic game in 2003. On man that loss stung for us though.

Well...this is the worst defense KC has faced...and the best offense. If anything..this match-up plays to the Chiefs strengths. No Ware, Miller or Watt....Chiefs faced 2 of the top 3 pass rushers while having both tackles out...and starting a street free-agent RT. A gimpy Lacy is pretty big too...

I think after 10+ days of rest...the offense will look a lot better. The big question mark is Flemming and how KC adjusts. Packers dont have a #2 WR like Sanders.

The emotion of this game will be interesting too...KC just blew one they should have won by 10+ points...and the Packers beat the team that knocked them out of the Superbowl....both on a national stage.

What was that stat they flashed during the Packers/Seahawks game? Something like Rodgers was 6-6 in his first 12 home games, and now he's 37-3 since? And add in that he hasn't thrown an interception at home since 2012. Yeah.

Bet the over, and bet the Packers with the points.

KC hasn't allowed a 300 yard passer in over 18 games....will be interesting with Nelson out.

I believe James Jones is a solid #2.

We gave up over 300 to Houston QBs, IIRC.

If they did...it was because KC was blowing them out and played conservative defense.

How they handled Roethlisberger, Manning (x2), Rivers (x2) and Brady is a better sample size.

If Sean Smith were playing I'd pick KC.

Offensively, with 10 days to prepare, there's no excuse to not be sharp for this one. The gameplan needs to be: Run the ball often and chew clock, use play action to take shots to Kelce and Maclin. Laugh if you want at that 'taking shots' thought, but if we want to win Andy and Alex have to do it. Need to physically set the tone.

Defensively, I liked what Seattle did actually. Sent 4 all night and dropped 7 into coverage. Without Sean Smith + our front 4, I think it's the way to go MOST of the time with the occasional blitz with 5-6. Gotta stop the run first and foremost. Not gonna just stop Aaron Rodgers no matter what.

Don't think we win, but don't think we lose by much.
