A question for Chief fans

I was wondering if you guys remembered an overtime game against my Packers back in 2003 at Lambeau field where you guys came back and beat us. I have to say out of the top 15 Packer losses that ranks right up there as the most heartbreaking as far as regular season games go. We had you guys and you were one of the best teams in the league that year. I remember it took me a couple weeks to get over that loss. That said I thought I would ask you guys if you remembered it or were at the game? Congrats on your win yesterday and you looked like the old Chiefs that started the year 4-0. Always like seeing you do well and I hope you guys make the playoffs. I hope you all have a good Christmas as well.

What a great game.
Damn Trent put that ball right on the money.

Alex would have underthrown it by 3 yards

Actually was at the Game. It was my first and only trip to Green Bay. Was obviously a thrilling win for us. Have to say Packers fans were great both before and after the loss. Considering how heartbreaking the loss was, that says a lot about your fans IMO.

Did any of our fans think we had the game won with a 17 point lead?

Now you bring up 97. We don't want to talk about that either.

I was at that game. My crew I tailgate with all drove up to Chicago and stayed Friday night in Chicago, then drove up to Green Bay Saturday. We sat in the Stadium View bar across the street from Lambeau, and drank and ate all day watching college football. Then we went there again Sunday am for the awesome bloody mary bar before heading into the game. If I remember right, Ahman Green fumbled, KC got the ball, and Trent Green hit Eddie Kennison for a long TD to win it. The packer fans were awesome and congratulated us on the win and asked us to come to a bunch of different tailgates where we ate brats, drank beer, and had a blast.

Except for the post game brats and brotherly love stuff, that I believe...Packers fans seem so nice.

I will have to GTFO. I have no pics from that game, it was too long ago. I don't think my phone took pics back then. There were two steak houses right outside the parking lot. One was Brett (Brent) Favre's, the other was a place you cooked your own steak over a hugh firepit. We went to the latter. Not sure if Favre's is still there after he went to Minny and played for the rival for a year.

I was working with a TV staff in Wausau in 2005 when this game came up for discussion during a break. Then someone came in to announce that Mike Sherman has just been extended as head coach. I asked, "Is this a good thing"? Crickets.
Anyway, yours was a classy question and comment.

Since that game, Green Bay has had as many Super Bowl wins as KC has had in playoff wins.

I'd hope that one regular season loss 14 years ago doesn't hurt that much..
